SS800 Emlock

The SS800 Emlock is built for medium to heavy-duty access control applications, delivering strong, consistent, and reliable performance. With a holding force of up to 800 lbs (362 kg), this electromagnetic lock provides secure protection for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities where safety cannot compromise.

Engineered for durability, the SS800 Emlock operates with a voltage input of either 12VDC or 24VDC, giving installers flexibility in various system setups. Its current draw efficiency—480 mA at 12V or 240 mA at 24V—ensures stable power consumption while maintaining reliable locking strength. This balance makes it suitable for both standard and advanced access control integrations, including biometric, RFID, or keypad-based systems.

The blue zinc anti-rust surface finish extends the lock’s lifespan by protecting against corrosion and wear, even in challenging environments. Its resistance to humidity levels of up to 95% (non-condensing) ensures dependable operation across different climates. The lock is functional within wide temperatures of up to 55°C, making it a solution for indoor and outdoor setups.

Compact yet strong, the magnet measures 220 × 46 × 28 mm, while the armature plate is 182 × 44 × 11 mm. Despite its solid construction, the lock weighs only 1.80 kg, making installation straightforward without compromising stability or strength.
